I was more nervous than I needed to be
…but I’m still kind of creeped out.
The needle itself is small and doesn’t hurt; the meds kind of burn. But once I get used to all the little steps and pieces, I’ll adjust to it.
Three times a week, through next June. But at least I only need bloodwork done once a month (not weekly like it has been).

One step at a time.
Peace to you,
Suzanne
You are my brave sister whom I admire and cheer onward.
yeah - giving yourself injections sucks. keep on keeping on.
I'd make a terrible diabetic, they creep me out too. Onward, my friend.
Yaaaay Kirstin!
God bless you!
Sigh. Praying for you and that June comes SOON.
Bless your heart. You're brave. And Suzanne is right on. One step at a time.
Remember your cheering section is here.
Me too! What they said.
Yes, Kirstin. We be here, and we be prayin', love.
Kirstin,
Sounds like you are doing better. Yeah, shooting yourself is a real trip. I did that when I was on chemo. I was taking EPO for anemia. EPO really hurts going in. I liked doing the shot myself because EPO hurts more if you push it in fast. I mean it *really* hurts. Doing it myself, I could control the rate it was being pushed in. AND I didn't have to wait in the injection room at Kaiser. Big bonus.
I rejoice that you have morefreedom in your life now.
Blessings
